wisptis my nightmare came true , its the source of every tablet user’s problems ,its pretty much what makes your tablet glitch , its a waste of space in your hardrive since its complety useless, and the reazon i cant enjoy my tablet at its fullest.
if you have it, try disabling it, your live will be better, and your lines will be really smooth i tell you,
all you have to do is :
open your task manager» go to process tag» scroll down and look for two process called wisptis.exe» right click » stop process
this is the only way i know to stop it , but it will come back everytime you turn your computer back on or restart it.
my problem is that everytime i try to stop it, it will deny me the disabling of this process unless im the administrator, altho im singed in as the admin. it will still deny it to me and wont let me end it making my life a ball of rage :(
if anyone knows a solution or how to get rid of it please tell me i will love you forever
im so sorry for my broken inglish btw
Hey Manos, I tried writing it on your entry but my tablet is super laggy right now and it probably didn’t make much sense, so I’ll retype it here.
So basically what you need to do is give yourself ownership and then you can do whatever to the file. To do this you need to locate your Wisptis.exe file. It can be found Computer > OS(C:) > Windows > System32. Then around the end of this folder should be the wisptis.exe.
Now what you need to do is right click it and select Properties. From here you will go to the Security tab at the top. In security there are two things you can click to change: edit and advanced. You want to pick advanced. From here there are 4 tabs at the top and you want to go to the owner tab and then edit. This is where you add your account and give yourself ownership of the file.
Next you will go back to security but this time you want to chose edit. In this, click your account and make sure all the boxes in the bottom are checked for ‘allow’. Now you can edit the file however you want.
I would advise you NOT delete it completely cause it may be needed sometime later and whatnot. A simple thing to do it rename it to something you’ll remember. I renamed mine to ‘YOLO’ and haven’t touched it since and it has rid me of all my problems. If the tablet can’t find the file named ‘wisptis.exe’ then it won’t register it.
Also you might still have the problems because the last step is where you go to the task manager and end the process for the wisptis.exe. AND THAT SHOULD WORK. If it doesn’t let me know! It worked for me, at least that’s how I remember doing it OTL;;
Good luck Manos!
